The overall quality of care fallen to 37 of 190 countries analyzed by WHO (thepatientfactor.com, 2017). The adage of “you get what you pay for” does not hold true in this instance, in fact the United States spends more on each patient than any other country in the world. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, found the U.S. spends over $9,000 per capita (pgpf.com, 2016).”
