Topic: I would like you to analyze an ethical question in the mass media. It can be an issue the media are facing now or could face in the future. The issue can be local, national or international in scope.

 Develop a broad ethical question that you would like to explore and write a minimum of 700 words describing it. Examples of a broad ethical questions are (don’t use these): – Should TV news programs show dead bodies during their newscasts? – Should downloading music from free file-sharing sites be a crime? – Should rape victims be identified in news stories? – Are vulgar, racist and sexist remarks in the mass media ever OK? – Do TV dramas “ripped from the headlines” distort the news? Explore your issue using researched sources. This is NOT an opinion paper, but a paper that requires valid sources.

 In other words, you should find examples from the media that illustrate your issue. Feel free to send me message if you have any questions. At the end of your paper, a works-cited page with a minimum of three sources is required.
